Barry led 10 motorcycles on a very pleasant trip to The Rose and Crown (Eli's to those oldies among us!) at Huish Episcopi.
Leaving Ruishton at 19.45 the sun was still shining. Along the route the sun went down in it's spectacular fashion; twinkling on windows and creating reds and oranges in the cloud.
Later in the evening rain did threaten in the form of a few spots but we got there with no rain and Andy and I arrived home having missed the "isolated showers" that had been predicted - hopefully you all got home in the dry.
Roger did not manage to get as far as Eli's - hopefully he did arrive home before midnight!
Thanks to Barry for taking the lead. Let's hope that this is the start of many warm dry summer evening rides.
